Do you think 1 year & 3 1/2 years old are too young to share a room?

Our 3 1/2 year old has been crying about not wanting to be alone in her room lately. She wants us to sleep in her room or to come in our room with us. She usually takes the puppy with her but lately that’s not good enough. Looking for opinions/ stories about if that’s an okay age for room sharing?? Both girls, and I think she’d sleep through her sister waking up. Thanks in advance!

Me and my little sister are 3 years and 3 days apart, and we had shared a room since she was born up until she was 14.
It works better that way for some sisters.
We definitely fought a little when we were teenagers because I was older and wanted my own space, but as kids and toddlers/babies, it worked out well.

No, that’s one of the perks of having kids close in age. My kids are 8+ years apart so there’s no way that’s happening! Lol.

Thanks for all the votes & comments! ☺️ we moved them into the same room today but I think I’m going to get a baby/nanny cam just to keep an eye on them lol (I’m sure it’ll be useful for other things & in the future too)

My boys shared a room for a 3years from a young age my little one was about 12 months and my older boy 2 (12 months apart). I’m currently 10w and when the baby is about 1 1/2 I’ll be putting it in with mr 9 as my eldest has special needs and needs his own room, we are looking at doing some renovating and adding another room but unsure if it’s affordable.

Omg beautiful!! I think its okay that they share a room. I know my 9 month old and my just turned 2yr old would misbehave all night but if your babies are better behaved than mine go for it! I wish I could.

Both of my neices have shared a room frok day one. My oldest niece is 3.5 (4 in march) and her sister will be 2 jan.9th. They started sharing a bed recently (unintentionally lol) because the youngest climbs out of her bed and invades her sisters bed lol

My 4 and 2 year old have shared a room since my youngest was 6 months. They love it. It can be a pain. But also sweet. I will be putting them in their own rooms soon.

My 2 and 3 year old daughters share a room..and, when my 3rd daughter is a year old I hope to be able to put all three of them in one room..(they will be 1, 3, and 4)
I see nothing wrong with it.
