Did it ever end up working out?

I’ve met a guy back in 07. I was 13 & he was 14. Being young and having a significant other. I figured this was a lesson not a blessing. We dated and around 6 months he cheated and I cried and was sad. Typical stuff.

So I thought!

From that ping on nothing ever was the same!

Through out our young lives we ALWAYS found a way back to each other. I’ve dated other men. Him other women. Still talked and made sure we were in good shape. And of course reminisce on the past memories we’ve made together.

I’m close with his family. & have even been around his family with my boyfriend at the time. Hangout with them when he isn’t around.

Well a couple years back we lost contact because he moved out of state. When this happened I was sad. But I figured we’ve always found our way so I had nothing to worry about. I was right ..somewhat.

While he lived else where we both met new people had new experiences & so on. We had such a great strong connection that if one of us got married we could invite one another.

Sure enough he decided on a new career resulting in him getting married. Yes I was very hurt. I couldn’t believe it. But I still was always there no matter what.

Since his mmm being married I had to respect his new life. I did. Years went on and no conversations passed between us. Then I surely thought well this is it. Nothing can ever be of us.

But even after him having two kids and a wife..not everyday but once in a while we would speak to one another if he came back home to visit.

My question is this

Even after a marriage and children..would there ever be an “US”?

Every time I move on and I’m content he’s come right back!

What is the meaning of us keep popping back up in one another life?

We don’t talk in years then BOOM!

He is my first true love and I accept his life for what it is..I just need to know why the world keeps bringing us together when he’s already made his path in life..not with me.

By the way I do my own thing and am not fixated on his life!
