Chiropractor during pregnancy.

So, I just wanted to share my experience.

I’m 36w with baby #2. I’m turning 21 next month.

Anyway, since I was 16-17 I had bad back problems due to horse riding accidents, etc. during my first pregnancy my back killed me, like couldn’t get up or Straighten it out, I ruled it to be “normal”. After labor, my back wasn’t ever the same I had the epidural, and i’m still sensitive in that spot.. so flash forward to baby #2, my back got bad around 15 weeks, I noticed the pains were increasing, and not like normal back pains. My husband would rub my back for hours and there was 0 relief. I dealt with the pain up until 32-33 weeks when my pelvis felt like it had broke, when I would walk my hips would pop. I couldn’t get out of bed, i couldn’t care for my son, it was terrible! So i said no more of this crap. I scheduled an appointment with a chiropractor in my town just to see if there could be any help to relive this pain, exercising, anything.

Come to find out, the top of my spine had shifted to the left, and wasn’t in line, plus my pelvis and hips were also, out of line. She adjusted the top of my back, and adjusted my pelvis & hips @ 35 weeks, and omg I felt like a new person.. I could walk, bend, everything again. I go back weekly now to make sure things stay in line. My moral of this whole thing is, if you feel like your back pain is to much, or maybe more than just “pregnancy aches” don’t feel embarrassed to seek help. I put it off for months cause I thought i would look foolish if it came out to be just normal pregnancy pains. But it wasn’t, it was far more than that. I’m glad I broke down and scheduled that appointment, and I can’t wait for my appointment Thursday 😂
