24 week premie

Lennon was born on Friday December 29th at 2:23 AM at 24 weeks gestation weighing 1 Lb. 5 oz. He is doing well for a little guy, very spunky. Likes to move around and pull his cords out. We have a long journey ahead of us and at least 16 weeks in the NICU, I know it won’t always be easy and I’m thankful he’s had a good few days. It’s still so hard to believe that he’s here already.

he had a good first few days in the NICU, no terrible reports so far. They did a heart scan today and the the hole that all new babies have in their heart closed up 🙌🏼❤️ when I walked in this afternoon and started talking to him he opened one of his eyes for the first time 💙 my heart melted as he just sat there and stared, he probably can’t see much of anything yet, but it was still a very sweet moment. He started taking little feedings of my milk through a feeding tube and he has reacted well to them so far❤️ still so thankful for the amazing hospital staff and the provision and comfort from the Lord.
