6+4 week Ultrasound after Spotting

I went in today after about 5 days of spotting. My HCG level was good at 54,000. I had a early ultrasound and was able to see baby and a heart beat of 128bpm, but a hematoma was found which could be the cause for bleeding. This is something that cause resolve itself on its own. But, when we spoke to our midwife she didn’t want to rule out the chance for a miscarriage because the sac was laying low. I go back in next Friday for another ultrasound and she mentioned we would know more then. Has anyone else ever been told they have a low laying sac? I’m just preparing myself for bad news for next week.
