This will be the unpopular opinion, so don’t come for me BUT I think promise rings are stupid. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just don’t see the point personally...especially after age 18.

My man got me this promise ring on my 18th birthday, we had been together for 6 months before he gave it to me. I love the concept of it, he wrote me a letter and put it inside the box, promising to love me, stay loyal to me, keep my safe and etc. he’s the best boyfriend I’ve ever had, I was in shitty relationships and now i’ve got the best man ever. So in my opinion promise rings are adorable and sentimental ❤️❤️

It’s always a lovely thoughtful idea for a guy to get one, but if you have to tell the guy or even hint towards it then it kinda loses the spark, you should feel lucky the thought even came into his head 😃 but my bf hasn’t got me one but hes not that type of soppy lovey dovey guy, but that’s fine too, it’s each to their own
