Birth control

soo when i lose my virginity in the future i plan to take the Birth control pill. ive heard good things about it like keeping your period on track and clearing acne, buut also i keep hearing bad things about it, like it messing with your period timing, or being unhealthy, lots of weight gain, things like that. and i know it can be different depending on the person too. so im just looking for advice/thoughts, even stories from people whove taken it from experience !
