Is anyone else still breastfeeding while pregnant?

My daughter will be 2 in March and I’m still breastfeeding. I had to decrease feedings in October so that I would get a period, so we could get pregnant. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m not sure if I should still be nursing her. I feel like the stress of trying to quit would be bad on my body, but I also want to be safe. My fist appointment isn’t for a few weeks. I’ll be 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Thoughts??

I nursed my first while pregnant with my second. My ob didn't bat an eye. My daughters pediatrician insisted I stop and that it would cause miscarriage. We switched to a smarter pediatrician.

My Dr said it was totally fine, he didn’t even bat an eye. Unless you are high risk, as in on bed rest, not cleared for sex/masterbation then it is absolutely safe. Just make sure you’re drinking tons of water to support the pregnancy, you, and milk production. As with a lot of things such as exercise, sex, over exertion, stress, and nursing...if you are not hydrated it can cause some pretty intense Braxton Hicks contractions and some people freak and think “OMG I have BH while nursing! That’s bad!” But just make sure you’re hydrated because that’s usually the culprit. Nurse on mama!!!

I'm also nursing my 9.5 month old while pregnant. I've noticed her nursing more and getting a bit agitated, so I know my supply has decreased. Just hoping to continue for at least another month as I have a stash we can use until she's one.

You can still nurse while pregnant. I am pregnant and have a 17-18 month old. She has actually started to self wean because my milk is drying up. It’s a relief that she is doing it on her own and I don’t have to force her. She’s only nursing at 5am and MAYBE for a nap on the weekends. But has totally stopped asking other than that.

I'm nursing my 15 month old still and I'm almost 10 weeks pregnant. my supply has dropped considerably and I'm SO bummed about it 😢 I am still offering the boob and she still asks for it, there is most milk in the morning but I feel by noon there isn't much left and I feel she's frustrated about that and that makes me sooo sad.. I want to keep going as long as I can and would love to tandem nurse once baby arrives. I heard some babies getting disinterested when milk supply comes in because it's so much milk compared to what their used to. We will have to see I guess...

I am 8 weeks and still nurse my 19 month old. My dr gave me the ok to do it bc my little guy is not ready to stop his morning and night feedings.

I still am! My daughter is 14 months and my supply has dramatically decreased since I got pregnant but I am going to try to at least do 1 morning and 1 night feeding for as long as possible. My doctor told me I don't have to stop but I should cut back to 1-2 feedings per day but everything else I read says it's completely safe and you don't have to cut back so maybe my doctor is just being cautious
