Does anyone know what this is on my brother 😱

His cheek is swollen like he’s got an abscess (he’s not) it’s practically crawling up alllll of his body. Not too sure I should be near him as I’m pregnant 😕

It could be an allergic reaction to something or a heat rash. I’d ask your doctor they may run sine tests

He’s back from out of hours - the doctor said it’s a virus that’s similar to hands, foot and mouth disease. But thankfully not harmful to baby! Thank you all!

Not a dr here.... but my body does something similar when I use tide laundry detergent. Does he feel itchy and hot? I take a benedryl and get a warm bath then shower. Best of luck

I would be careful around him. There are several infections that can be very harmful during pregnancy. I hope it’s just an allergic reaction but maybe you should go spend the weekend with a friend, just in case?
