Jump in weight?

My doc said I jumped in weight and acted like it was a big jump... from my last appointment I gained 5 pounds! I'm 26w! So from 22w-26w i gained 5 pounds! Is this really a huge jump like she acted like it was? I've only gained 5.4 pounds throughout my whole pregnancy!

If it was the first time you really gained any weight she was probably just surprised.

Those weeks were my biggest gain too. Once I hit 30-34 weeks, I had lost 3 lbs. OB wasn't concerned with either the gain or loss. Baby boy is just so high, that it's hard to eat more than a few bites. Gained a total of 18lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight to now at 35w. I was told at my first appt that my goal was to gain 25-30lbs.

Lol girl. Relax. You literally just said you gained 5ish lbs this ENTIRE pregnancy. You’re supposed to gain 25-25lbs.... so you’re nowhere close. Stop worrying too much about it. 👌🏼😎

I could see how they would say that. If up to 22w you only gained .4 pounds but then in 4 weeks you basically gained a little over a pound a week. That is a jump by comparison but still not a lot of weight. I wouldn’t worry over it.
