Did the glucose test make you feel nauseous?

I was shaking an hour or so after from the crash. Eating protein helps. I would go out for food after your appointment

I felt fine and had even fasted for mine. The drink just tastes like a flat orange pop. 
It is known to have a high number of false positives, so it’s not very dependable 🙄
I did fail my first and had to take the 3 hour glucose test. The orange drink pretty much tasted the same and I felt fine during the three hours. Afterwords I went and grabbed lunch as I was feeling light headed and then went home and took a nap.
You’ll be fine! Everyone I know has said they felt fine taking the drink 😊

My lab let me lay in a recliner chair so that made the time go by quicker because I slept inbetween draws.

Check with your doctor, but mine said to eat like normal before I came in, but to avoid sugar and carbs. I had eggs for breakfast and grilled chicken nuggets from chick fil a for lunch. Then I went and got a corn dog as soon as I left the office because I was staring to feel queasy and shaky.

I decline it now. it has a 50% false positive and 40% false negative rate. I just test at home on a monitor for a week for a real picture of my blood sugar

It came in waves, but i just focused on one spot and took some deep breaths. Then when we got to the car I ate some crackers and had a sprite. I was fine after that
