SCARY BIRTH STORY! 😩💔 MIRACLE BABY.

Diamond • Bj’s Mommy 💕🤗

On October, 31st I woke up at about 5 in the morning starting to feel some contractions but they were like 40 minutes apart so I figured early labor... I told my hubby and he told me to start tracking them on my phone, so I did. Finally I fell back asleep about 7am. Suddenly waking up around 10am with my contractions feeling worse and worse. So now I'm steady tracking them but I'm not worried because I had an appointment at 3pm that day so I figured I would wait until my appointment. At around 1pm they were 3 minutes apart and getting WORSE so we started to pack and clean the house up because I just knew I would be coming home with a baby in the next few days. I finally make it to my appointment, where they tell me that I'm 1 centimeter dilated and that I'm probably only in early labor and to come back if they get worse. But I knew they were wrong, I knew that it was definitely labor. So we left in frustration, got food and went back home. By the time I got home the pain was literally unbearable so we went straight to labor and delivery. Once we got there, they admitted me because I was already 39 weeks and got me hooked up to the machines, tracking my contractions. They set me up in my room, I got undressed, got my epidural and went to sleep. Randomly through the night the doctors/nurses would come in the room and turn me on different sides and began giving me oxygen. This is my first baby, I didnt think this was anything out of the norm.... I literally got no sleep, around 10am that morning they rushed into my room telling me I had to get an emergency C - section because my baby's heart was dropping down. I started to cry, I didn't want a C - Section I was SO SCARED. They got me dressed and my hubby dressed for the C Section, rolled me into the room. Gave me anesthesia, cut me open and took my baby out. The pain was brutal during the procedure... anyway I heard him screaming crying, I started to cry because I just knew he was fine and healthy I was SO happy. I passed out from the drugs and woke up in recovery. My hubby sitting by my side, quite and looking sad. I asked about the baby and he said the baby was in another room. A doctor comes in and starts telling me a bunch of stuff and I have no idea what she's talking about. They take me to see my baby and I roll in the room and he's in an incubator with a bunch of wires and a tube inside his mouth. I almost had an heart attack.

They told me bryant couldn't keep his oxygen levels up even with the help of the machine. The most he could keep his oxygen up to was in the low 60's, 70's.... they had no idea what was wrong with him or if he would live... bryant was airlifted 2 hours away to another hospital and there is where is journey in the NICU began... basically the doctors at this new hospital told us, bryant had 2 blood clots in his main arteries to his lungs and his bronchus was closed tight. His lung was underdeveloped, A bleed on his brain and they found cysts on his lungs as well.... They had no idea if bryant would live. Me and his dad were distraught and lost for words. We were breaking down, crying, passing out, anxiety attacks. It really was horrible. Well, we have been in NICU for 2 months, and we are going home in a few weeks. ❤️ Bryant's bronchus popped open to regular size, his lung is growing, one blood clot has dissolved, the other is making progress, no more brain bleeds, those cysts are now just scar tissue. Bryant is maintaining his oxygen levels WAY better. He has recovered extremely fast, only god saved my baby's life. The doctors really doubted him in the beginning. His case was rare and never seen before. We are still in this journey but I have faith and Don't ever give up on god. ❤️
