He Wants Me On Birth Control!?

QUESTION: Which birth control option should I go with?! Are you guys on any type of BC? How long have you been on it and what have you experienced with it? BACKSTORY: Long story short, I'm dating a man that has 3 kids (13, 8, and 3) and we want to have sex. We've had the "adult" conversation and now I'm thinking ... I haven't had kids yet (not ready quite yet) and he doesn't want to have more right now (and he's obviously fertile af). He asked me if I've ever been on birth control and I told him I have back on college but I gained a lot of weight nd hormones were crazy. I'm really thinking about going through with BC, he makes me happy and I can see myself with him in the long run.
