How long did you take Cetrotide for?

How long did you have to take Cetrotide before your egg retrieval?
I start Cetrotide tomorrow and from what I am ready, this is not a very easy on to administer, during or after. Doctor said things are going well but he monitors levels and does not tell your retrieval date until two days before. I didn’t think to ask until I read the horrible reviews of this medication.

I took it for 7 days, I used ice before the injection which helped prevent a skin reaction or pain.  I did get a slight red rash a few times but it went away quickly.

Centrotide stung a little but wasn’t bad at all. I hated the progesterone injection that was the worst of all of them. I switch to suppositories for my progesterone because it was so painful.

Like 5-6 days. It wasn’t hard to administer (just another shot) but I did feel a tad more sensitive after (welt or redness or swelling or stinging during injection). It’s why I was over the stimming phase actually hah

I wouldn’t be nervous...Cetrotide was not bad for me. I did get small, itchy welts at the injection site but they went away pretty quickly and otherwise it was the same as all of the other stims meds. I think I had to take it for 5-6 days before retrieval.
