Traumatic experience/negative reaction to epidural?

I hated it both times- but now I’m wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience?? I had a bad reaction both times (first time they thought it was to a medication in the IV). Half my body stopped working properly, and I had facial droop. And was SO out of it until the doctors adjusted/cut off bolus. Anyone else had anything similar? Have you had a natural birth since? Thank you!

I had 3 failed epidurals. The first one only numbed my left side so it was taken out and put in again. The second time it quit working after 2 hours and the third one was put in in the operating room and it quit working while my uterus was being cut open. Worst pain in my life. My son will be 5 months old tomorrow and I'm still numb from my belly button to my knees.

They gave it to be and nothing happened, I could still feel everything. Had to wait an hour and a half for the guy to come back and adjust it. He came back and adjusted it and only my right side went numb but the entire left side had to effect and I could still feel everything. Had to wait another two hours for him to come back the second time and when he adjusted it again the left side went numb but I could feel everything on the right side - so it flipped. It sucked. By the time I had my daughter (23 hour labor) and they took out the epidural it was still only my left side that was numb and it stayed numb for over 48 hours after they took it out.
