Are you taking birthing classes?

No. This is my 4th pregnancy so I've been through it 3 times. When the time comes you will do things your way and find your own techniques to help relieve pain. That class wouldn't even be in your mind. I was going to with my first pregnancy but was glad when I ended up not taking it because it's very unnecessary

We are taking them because neither of us have ever really been around babies for too long, especially newborns. So the infant care part of it is important for us. Also to tour the hospital and just learn about the labor process, which again, we are both newbies too.

My wife and I are first time moms and are expecting twins. We haven’t had a lot of experience with taking care of babies. We’re signed up for a 6-week multiples class and a 1-session infant CPR class. I know that nothing we do will prepare us 100%, but we would like a little foundation before the littles get here!

No my first two were csections this one will be as well. Husband has strict orders that if they start coming early to get me to the hospital asap

This is my 3rd. I I’d take classes with my first as the hospital requires it, but I honestly forgot everything when it came time to labor and my body kind of just took over.

You should. But I’ve Hurd that you forget everything you learned once the time comes. I didnt with my first and it was all self explanatory, your body knows what to do and when to do it. Write up a birth plan so you kinda have control over your birth. With my son everything went out the door, I ended up getting an epidural, which I fidnt want but my body said I needed it, turns out it knew that he was going to get stuck... worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I honestly wanted to just pass out. And that was with the epidural. Follow what you think you should do, everyone’s different
