gay best friend (sorry it's a bit long!)

So my best friend is gay but I'm so attracted to him, Physically and mentally. He's open about being gay with me and we even talk about guys we like together. When we first became friends he told me if he was ever with a girl it could only be emotional and that he doesn't think he could ever "satisfy" a girl. But again, I'm so attracted to him and he knows it but has told me it wouldn't happen. After I told him the feelings weren't as strong but every now and then whenever I look at him when we are having a good time together or I watc him do something that makes him happy I can't help but smile and think about how lucky I am to have him in my life! (Side note, We went out one night and had a little too much and ended up making out the whole night but it never went any farther than that....) has anyone else ever had this happen? How did you deal with it? Any advise?
