Is “Ren” a cute nickname for a baby boy?

Warren is a family name on both mine and my husband’s sides so we like it for a boy’s name but agree that it’s too “serious” for a baby. We want to agree on a nickname as well. I think “Ren” is super cute but he’s worried it’s too feminine because he knew a girl named “Wren” in school. Thoughts?
