Formula and Solids?

Question

I just wanted to hear from some of you other mommies who have started your babies on solids. I was curious how much formula they drank and how often and when you feed solids?? 
My daughter is just over 4 months and drinks 4.5 oz every 2-3 hours and I try solids (so far only cereal) in the morning and in the evening.

Agree with other posters. Breastmilk/formula intake should and will stay the same. We are doing two solid snacks a day. Mind you it’s oatmeal with breastmilk and at 1 tablespoon of cereal per oz of milk she is taking three additional oz of milk a day plus whatever veggie we are trying out. She can eat right after or before a feeding and it dies not seem to change her appetite even though it is way more than just 3-5 spoonfuls.

Our pediatrician said she needs minimum 24 ounces formula then the rest can be from solids. We tried some small things like mushy bananas and applesauce at 4 months but took a break. 
It’s very time consuming to sit there as they mess with the small amount on the spoon. She drinks at least 40 oz formula a day and is lean! I am going to try again a little baby oatmeal in the high chair tomorrow. Maybe some avocado for lunch. She’s almost 5 months now and loves her high chair so we are going to try again. 
I think it’s good to slowly get adjusted to feeding solids around 4 months, for the mom too. Because right at 6 months our doc said we need to be ready to go with a routine for cereal and solids (due to iron requirements)

My son wakes up around 8 or 9 and drinks 8oz then around 11 or 12 he has his breakfast (usually bananas but I’m introducing apples now) and a 4 oz bottle. Then around 3/4 he has another 8 oz and around 6/7 he had dinner (peas) and another 4 oz bottle after that he plays for awhile and then goes to sleep and depending on the night he’s having he might wake up around 3 for another 4 oz.

I would love to know the same been asking and researching the amounts but all that comes up is like how to start but from what I've gathered I'd say food for breakfast snack then lunch then dnack then dinner and dnack before bed and snack is another word for bottle between each meal but again this I'd just what I've gathered from large amounts if research irk for sure as my daughter doesnt eat solids yet but I really wanna try led  weaning when she is eating solids
