Question about baby dropping?

Ok so I’m almost 37 weeks. And he’s above the belly button It seems like well that’s where I SEE all the movement. And I can feel him with my hand above my belly button. And see where he’s laying etc. But I can feel movements In the lower pelvic area at the same TIME he’s moving up high. Anyways Idk If I’m making since If he’s dropped so I still feel and see movements above the belly button cause I know there big at this point so didn’t think It matters... As you’d feel them everywhere

Baby is probably head down by your pelvis and feet are moving up above your belly button. Getting kicks to the ribs.

You are probably feeling hands down low and feet up high. Baby takes up a ton of room by 37 weeks, even when they drop you can still get kicks to the ribs.

Depending on when your doctor checks he can normally tell you if baby is low or not. Remember dilation is normal, the one that I’ve found with my 3 previous pregnancies is how soft my cervix is and how short it is, that will normally tell me how low baby is. :)
