For the past 5 years, my jaw has been in a lot of pain. The disk in my jaw never fit correctly and it never slid like it was supposed to. I’ve been talking to the dentist about it for year and finally I’m getting something done about it. These are my X-rays.

My options are mouth guard, removing my wisdom teeth, braces, or possibly surgery. Just so you know, I’m 14. we got a mouth guard but it doesn’t fit and getting one custom made costs $400. I told my parents not to spend that much money on a piece of plastic. So we didn’t get that. We are taking me to the orthodontist and then I will most likely have to get braces. Let’s see where this takes me.
