I'm due in April and I'm already thinking of birth control

I'm due in April with our 2nd baby, And We are unsure yet if we plan on having anymore children after this. I want to start planning what I am going to do for birth control afterwards. I have not heard many good things about the long term birth control, such as the IUD, Mireya etc... I have tried the pill and it did not work well for me, tried nuvaring and I personally did not like it and my most recent one was the patch. Now, I have heard horror stories from other women about the IUD and them getting pregnant from it, and it being painful. Most recently one of my good friends had gotten the implant and she kept having break through bleeding.

What are or is there any or options besides condoms that I don't know about yet for birth control? I want to be prepared thanks :)
