At what stage in pregnancy did everyone get their flu jab? I’ve just had mine at 17 weeks as midwife advised it

I was 10w, got mine back in September (start of flu season where i live).

I think it was close to 16 weeks. Back in October. I haven't had a flu jab since I was a kiddo but I didn't want to take any chances. 28 +3 now and baby girl is still right on track. Everyone around me caught the flu this past month and got hit hard. I got it but super mild in comparison so I was thankful for that.

Got offered around 22 weeks or so? I have a bad reaction to it so I turned it down.

I got mine during the first trimester. I can’t remember exactly how far along I was. Probably 8-12 weeks

Had mine between 8-10 weeks. Now 22 weeks with a perfectly on track boy. It's flu season - now's a good time no matter what your stage of pregnancy! If you have questions about timing, talk to your provider and I'm sure they'll be of help.

I never get the flu shot unless the facility I’m working in requires it. I find it is more effective for elderly and people more vulnerable to succumb to the illness.
