Give late gift or not

My boyfriend and I been arguing a lot over little petty things like him forgetting to lock the door(we live in a bad neighborhood) ,not cleaning up after his self when he cooks and helping around the house period. Having people come over unannounced and smoking around our 11 month old so we both decided I need to move out but his Christmas gift came late in the mail I didn’t tell him about it should I return it or give it him even though he’s being a childish dick
