Can’t make any friends :/

So, I moved to Charleston, South Carolina in August of last year. I’ve found it impossible to make friends here to do stuff with. I want my kid to play with other kids but we don’t know anyone. My husband only has one or two classmates that are married because we are both only 20 years old. Married , we have one kid and one on the way. We are moving in a year and a half to I don’t know where and I’m afraid that now it’s just to late to be trying to make friends. I honestly don’t know what to do. Can any of you ladies give me any tips?
