When to start the pill

I just got the pill today and my doctor told me to take it on the Sunday after my period starts. So does that mean I have to wait until my next period to start it? Would it be okay to start taking it today?

Assuming it's a combination pill, you can start at any point in your cycle. Just use use the day of the week stickers they give you with your pills to stay on track.

that would be February 4th. if you want to wait that long. you could start today and use the relabeling stickers that came with your pack to relabel the days of the week at the top of your pack so that the first day is today, Thursday
