Growth Scan Accuracy?

I’ve been having monthly growth scans this time around because I had gestational hypertension and preeclampsia with my son (induced @ 36 weeks weighing 5.12)
I have gestational hypertension and preeclampsia again this time as well. My baby has been measuring between 25th and 40th percentiles this whole pregnancy until today’s scan. (36 weeks) She’s supposedly 6lbs 11oz 😵
Anyone know how accurate that would be?

According to my midwife, later term ultrasounds can be up to 2lbs off either way...

For my son they told me he would weight close to 10 lbs and he was only (and I say only lightly lol) 8 lbs 10 oz. We asked the dr this time and she said the measurements this late are not 100% and can only give an estimate. So.... 🤷🏼‍♀️. Because they are all squished up in there the body parts they measure can be squished or flattened making them appear larger. I wouldn’t worry too much but definitely listen to your drs advice! Just had a growth scan today for GD— I’m 36w3d, and they measured my daughter at 9lb15oz!
She is being delivered on Jan 17th due to GD and cholestasis.
They were nearly spot on for my son though, so I’m not sure what to think! (Estimated 8lb8oz, was 8lb10oz)

I also get monthly growth scans and my percentiles have always been pretty close. I was diagnosed with pre-e but my doctor isn’t so sure I actually have it but she can’t advise me to stop my twice a week appointments for liability reasons.  Today I am 35 weeks and my Little’s growth scan showed him at 6lbs 7oz which was around the 80th percentile (consistent with all other growth scans since 28 weeks)
