Pregnancy announcement

How do you women feel about going into labor and someone telling your close family and friends your in labour do you feel like you’d want to announce it before ? My bf and I had a surprise pregnancy it wasn’t planned and my mother in law made it all about her making it out to be a terrible thing about me being pregnant she’s come around now and is excited but she has s big mouth and tends to make everything about her so I think I’m not going to tell anyone when I go into labour and only tell them when baby is here. Just curious how everyone else feels about sharing their big news ?
