My husband and I have an 11 year old together and for a bunch of reason I won’t get into we’ve waited until recently to try and conceive again. Well he works away and isn’t always home at the right time, so it isn’t always easy. That combined with my extremely irregular period, things have been frustrating to say the least, each month that went by and he wasn’t home, each time he was scheduled to be home at the exact right time then my period came 10 days late and messed everything up. It’s been fun... anyway, we did have a few months where he was home at the exact right time and we could have sex during the entire ovulation window. Those months were not successful and then last month according to <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android">ovulation calendar</a> I ovulated the day he came home. I kind of wrote the month off thinking I dunno, then felt upset because I thought I was having one of my super long cycles again this month resulting in pushing my ovulation window out of his time being home. Today marked day 41 and up until now I’ve never had a cycle lasting more then 40 days. I promised myself I’d wait until tomorrow because my period can range from 28 day until 40 any given month so being this late is not abnormal for me. I took the test this morning and it was positive! The month I thought no way is the month it happened. Of course! So now I’ve been up for hours wondering if I should just go tell him or think of a clever way to do it.

He literally got home last night and is basically a zombie for a few days so I want him to at least be coherent when I tell him.... I always envisioned some clever way but now I’m just like, how am I not supposed to say it lol!?!? This two hours alone I’ve almost told him 20 times! Help!!!?
