Does time determine love? opinions please

So almost a year ago I broke up with my fiance and we had been together almost 4 years, and about 6 months ago I started dating my current boyfriend and we've already talked about marriage and having kids together, and I feel a stronger connection to him than to anyone I've ever been with/talked with, Is it too early to have these kind of thoughts? we're both young, I'm 18 he's 19. How long should I wait before it's acceptable to get engaged? Pic is us!

the honeymoon phase can last up to a year. Then the rose colored glasses start to fade and you notice all their annoying habits, which may or may not be deal breakers. I feel it's good to wait until after that to get engaged, but it's really a personal choice.

It’s not to early to talk/ think about things but I, personally, would at least wait a year before doing anything serious.

Take it from someone who married someone three months after knowing them because we fell so hard and madly in Love we just thought that was the only thing that mattered. Turns out a whole lot more matters than just love. You’d think love is enough but sometimes it’s not. A year and three months later my husband and I are still together and in three days are welcoming our son into this world but it has not been an easy road. We have had to jump and hurdle over so many bumps in the road but marriage is not easy so please don’t expect it to be just because you’re in love. I do not regret marrying him and I want to spend the rest of my life with him, and it’s possible to have that to but you need to take your time and be 100% sure.

I don’t think it’s too early for those thoughts. You are however young though. Try experiencing life for yourself first before you make that kind of commitment again. Go to a movie by yourself, a spoken work, take a trip with your girls. Experience things you want for you first before you jump back into that type of commitment. You are a beautiful girl and I wish the best for the both of you. Give it time.

Agreeing with the others! Definitely think its okay to talk about those things and totally possible to just click with someone like that. But wait a year or two before doing anything like getting engaged or moving in.
