How long were you on depo and decided it wasn't for you?

I've noticed a lot of women say depo is the worse bc ever and scare many other women off it. What bothers me the most is that most of the women weren't even on depo for a year. Being on depo, your body takes around a year for it to adjust. It could be more, it could be less. It all depends on the individual. So when I hear that women are scaring other women off it without being on it for at least a year is probably one of my biggest pet peeve.
