Jaw issues?!

Question

I'm 15 and have braces so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I noticed it began to click which released tension in my joint but now it's at the stage where I can't open my mouth and it's very painful to bite things and eat. If I want to unlock it then I have to push in the joint to open my mouth . Does anyone know what this is?

i went to a specialist and recieved botox in my.jaw joint to not make my muscles so tight and it helped so much. definitely lrt your orthodontist know because keeping your mouth open during visits can exaccerbate it
