Can I be induced at 39 weeks?

At our first appointment I weighed in at 169 I’m currently sitting at 127 lbs, this whole pregnancy has been so hard. Since day one I’ve been sick and testing every medication to help with the vomiting, @ every appointment I lose 2-3lbs and I am completely exhausted! This is my third, and I feel like I’m to weak to even pull thru labour..could I ask to be induced at 39weeks?

It depends on your doctor or midwife. I have an induction scheduled for the 18th if I don’t go into labor on my own. I’ll be 41 weeks and the office I go to won’t induce before then unless absolutely medically necessary. I’m going nuts and can barely keep up with my two year old so I’ll take the earliest I can get.

I would think with you losing that much weight and constant vomiting they would want to but I'm no Dr. I can't imagine what you're going through!

I think you can ask anything you want really and then your care provider will discuss your options with you. Never feel like you can’t ask :)
