It can happen. The pills main purpose is to prevent ovulation so if you’ve already ovulated you can still become pregnant. The morning after pill does also change the ph of your uterus and put a lot of hormones into your body so it can also prevent a fertilized egg from latching on and growing. I have known a couple people that have gotten pregnant after plan b though. It’s most effective if you take it ASAP after the unprotected sex

Let me reword it, the pill claims it MAY stop implantation from happening but studies have shown that it actually does not

You literally just contradicted yourself with that sentence lol. I’m not sure what you mean

Studies have actually shown that it doesn't really do anything to prevent implantation, but it MAY keep the egg from implanting

There's 4 main reasons why morning after pills don't work, taking it after you've already ovulated, taking it past the 72 hr mark, taking it excessively (more than 2-3 times a year) and being over the weight limit

In the uk, Levonelle (morning after pill) isn’t commonly given past 72 hours. There are two types of morning after pill: Levonelle® and ellaOne®. Levonelle can be taken up to 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. ellaOne can be used up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex. Regular family planning methods are more effective than emergency contraceptive pills.

I’ve not, but it can happen. The longer between taking the pill and unprotected sex, the less effective it gets. Illness such as sickness can also make it ineffective :)
