I just was diagnosed

After having sex with my boyfriend last week for the first time in about a week or so I got a cut at the back of my vaginal opening. This wasn’t a surprise because I get them sometimes without the right amount of lubricant. Well over the next few days I had a bad thick discharge like I had a yeast infection and I saw two more ulcer looking sores. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before so I set up an OBGYN appointment but they couldn’t get me in until Thursday. Well by Thursday it had spread and gotten worse, then worse comes to worse and my appointment was cancelled by my dr. So I had to go to my local planned parenthood. Luckily I got in right away. During my exam the Dr. made me feel comfortable she let me know everything that was she was doing etc... so eventually she told me to sit up and she says to me “everything looks okay, but the ulcers are herpes and I’ll test what kind, then I’ll also test for a yeast infection”. Then she told me it would take 7 days for my results for herpes to come back in. I’m freaking out which I think is one reason why it spread more. I have been reading forums on here for the last two days. I’m in complete shock I’ve only had two partners ever the first one 2 years ago a more experienced friend that I trusted and used protection with, second my boyfriend of 1 year and he was a virgin before. But if it’s type one I could have gotten it from either of them... I’m going to tell my boyfriend tomorrow. I’m really hoping he doesn’t break up with me. I’m scared as hell. Idk what to do.
