Ladies who have babies already..... how many newborn size clothes should I have?

Don’t they grow out of them fast?  I don’t want to get too many, but don’t want to have too few.  Thank you!

It all depends on how big they are at birth. My first wore them for over 2 months and my second was out of them in almost 2 weeks.

start with like 5 jammies and some onesies. if she or he is going to need them longer depending on birth weight order more via Amazon prime. btw baby loses weight after birth and should be back to birth weight by the 2 minth check up

It really depends on the baby size. My son was in newborns for about two months

My daughter was in her newborn clothes for maybe 2 months but could were 3 month clothing comfortably. We had maybe 6 newborn outfits?? 
Every size varies! If you were to hang your 0-3 clothing up, there are pieces that look smaller than the rest. Newborn clothing is not needed, in my opinion. But so cute!

I’d buy about 10 footie pjs/ onsies and go from there. Also just keep tags on until Baby is born. Some babies are born too big for them. Mine were in them for a few months but my sister had a baby that was over 9 lbs and never fit into them

Mine wore for probably a month. We had probably 5 onesie pjs and that worked well and can go buy more if your baby is small and you want a bigger selection. Some 0-3 stuff fits closer to newborn. You’ll find certain brands run different to size

my kid didn't even use newborns for a whole month. by close to a week old some were pretty snug.

My daughter was in only newborn clothes for 2-3 months. My daughter was born in February and it was cold here until April so she was basically in footed jammies all day. She wore knitted hats any time we went out and in the house on super cold days. She wore a few socks when we put pants on her that didn’t have footies. Don’t bother with shoes... totally pointless

my daughter was born 9 lbs 6 oz so wore like one newborn outfit. I'm not even going to buy newborn anything with this baby unless s/he ends up smaller. don't want to waste the money for encase I have another big baby

my baby was only 6lb 13oz and wore newborn clothes for 2 months. I only had 2 newborn sized clothes for her and had to buy many more
