Is it crazy to test 8dpo?

I understand it will be faint. Lol, anybody got a positive tho @ 8dpo? And did you use an early test or basic one?

It’s best to wait until you are LATE! I know it’s hard, but 8dpo is WAY TOO EARLY! I was trying for a year and believe me, I was addicted to testing in the first 6-7 months but that was driving me CRAZY! Analyzing each little phantom line, getting your heart broken by evaps, holding the tests at all angles, holding them up to the light, taking pictures with and without flash and editing them...it’s freaking BONKERS!! 
Track your ovulation, know how long your luteal phase is (it will always be the same) and when you are late, then test away!! It doesn’t benefit you to know at 10dpo vs 15dpo whether you’re pregnant already! And what’s worse is you could pick up on a chemical pregnancy that you couldn’t do anything about to begin with and that is heartbreaking too! Just hold out until you are late for your period! It’s so much less painful that way. 
Once you get your BFP, there is a lot more waiting and wondering and worrying ahead! I’m only 5 weeks pregnant right now and still not out of the woods for miscarriage. We couldn’t even see anything on the ultrasound when I went to the doctor! Just know it WILL happen, but there’s no sense in making yourself crazy!

Implantation can occur 6-12dpo so it's best to wait until then. My first I got a positive at 11dpo and this time I was a week and a half late on my period. Every pregnancy is different.

I'm 5dpo and I'm tempted but i know it'll be a waste of a test. I would at 8 though lol
