Birth story
So I keep reading all the articles about birth stories from different moms and how sweet their pregnancy was. Well here’s mine it’s not sweet at all.
I found out I was pregnant and it was fine and dandy until about 8 weeks. I thought it was normal to have all day morning sickness I worked in a urgent care so every time I worked I had to get a zofran shot and that still didn’t help. Well the morning sickness stayed and I started this cough probably at 12 weeks that’s stayed through the whole pregnancy. I tried everything my ob tried everything.
So then I had to keep going to the hospital because I had to get An Iv for three days so I can stay hydrated and get some nutrition to my baby. Well finally at 30 weeks my OB decided to do an ultrasound of my gall bladder. Well at 32 weeks I had an emergency gallbladder removal.
That went fine. So I had to be on bed rest for three days then I went back to work still coughing take pills to keep my little man in. Went to my ob checks and he said I was dilated to a 1 so I said okay we got a while. I was leaving my sisters dr appt the next day and I just felt funny. So I called my ob and got checked in. My BP Stayed at 210/120. They started the cervadil asap and in 6 hours broke my water. But of course I couldn’t have and epidural or spinal block since I had back surgery two years ago. Well I was in labor for 48 hours and nothing couldn’t get past a 2. So at 10:00pm they decided we are having a c section because they can’t keep my BP that high. So of course with my bad luck I couldn’t even enjoy my c section because while I was going under I was throwing up and when I came out I was throwing up. But me and my husband had a healthy baby boy at 35 weeks with no problems but a cone head. And he was 7 lbs 1 oz. and he will be 4 months on 1/22/18 and he is wearing 12-18 month clothes and he weighs 18 pounds 6 ounces
