Birth of my beautiful boy 👶🏻💙 sorry for the long post

On the 3rd of January I was booked in for a c section due to my first son been emergency section I was petrified of labour, my due date was the 5th as the 3rd approached I changed my mind and thought what’s the harm in trying a natural and decided to wait it out. The 5th of January arrived at half 10 I had a few niggly pains but thought nothing and off I went to collect my son from nursery, at half 12 I had a midwife appointment she performed a stretch and sweep and said I was 3cm but said it could go either way as soon as I hit the car the pains started to intensify I decided it was best to pick my partner up from work and head to my mums put it this way I wasn’t in my mums for more than 5 minutes and I was begging to go to the hospital 😂 I hit the hospital got on the bed and they said you are 9cm that was it I started to stress and cry as I knew by that point there was no chance of an epidural and started to panic about everything going wrong and having to be put to sleep for another emergency section but no more than 20 minutes later by beautiful little Ross entered the world at 13:56 weighing in at exactly 8lbs and I can officially say I did it no pain relief and no complications. Unfortunately 8 days down the line my stitches have broken apart and become infected so healing time is going to be a lot longer than expected but my little man is worth every inch of pain 👶🏻💙
