Contraction pains??

**Right girls I need some help**
I've just come out of hospital after being monitored twice in 5 hours.
It was saying I was having some big contractions however I was in no pain whatsoever. When I say no pain I mean absolutely nothing but a slight feeling of my stomach tightening but no pain. 
I'm so confused as to what's going on... can anyone help??

We’re u pushing on the little monitor thing on your tummy sometimes that makes the machine feel your having contractions

I had an NST at 34 weeks because we were getting a really low fetal heart rate at my appointment, and I was having consistent contractions the entire NST and couldnt feel them at all! They are likely just Braxton Hicks, which are “real” because your uterus really is contracting, but they aren’t labor contractions so they don’t hurt. I get SO many, and often they are very consistent, every 5 minutes for at least a minute, and it can go on for hours some days. They are very tight and sometimes uncomfortable but don’t hurt. Anyway, the nurses were surprised I was having so many contractions and didn’t feel them during the NST, but I guess it can go on for some time before real labor! I’m 36 weeks bow.
