my husband mentioned having an open marriage last night. I don't know how or what to think. I'm sick to my stomach and not sure if we should.  what do you guys think? experiences?

I understand people grow throughout marriage and develop wants and needs for other things, but that’s a bit extreme.
I would consider marriage counseling to make sure you two are on the same page.

Even if you say no it doesn’t matter. The fact that he mentioned it means he wants sex with other women. He will end up cheating if you don’t agree to it. I would honestly leave..

Talk it through with him. Calmly express how you’re not comfortable with that, and how you’re unsettled by it. It’s just an honest idea that you two need to talk out. Nobody should do something that they’re really uncomfortable with. I don’t think it’s like a “do-or-divorce” matter or a “how dare he? I’m getting a divorce” kind of thing, but it’s something that you both need to sit down, face to face, and calmly talk out.

I think its unfair to marry someone and later spring in the "open marriage" thing without your spouse even knowing this was a possibility. 
I think your feelings are clear here and you should let him know. From what I understand, these open relationships can get messy and require people who are fully aware of what they are getting into.
I honestly wouldn't know how to feel about it, or what it means going forward...will he cheat cos I say no??

That's awful!! I would be devastated and probably kick him out. What, are you not good enough for him?? Are you not fulfilling all of his needs?? That's crazy.
