To Chop Or Not To Chop

hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has had a really dramatic hair cut and wants to share pictures of it on this thread? just wondering because I am 17 and have rather long hair (kind of near my waist) and I've been wanting to cut it shorter, shoulder length (like a c curl, if anyone has heard of that before). I'm just nervous because I have like an emotional attachment to my hair lmao it's taken so long to grow and I'm not sure whether I would look weird and childish with shorter hair.
