I had my first baby shower yesterday and received a shit ton of newborn and 0-3 month sleepers for our little boy. I can probably count on one hand the number of people that got me things I actual want or need off the registry. And I think I only got a few gift receipts, and those were from the people that purchased off the registry. I don’t know what to do with all these pajamas. I stressed over our registry. We both researched products and carefully chose what we felt was best for our child and people just don’t care and do what they want. It’s beyond frustrating.

Addendum:

This is a rant room so I’m ranting. I don’t see the issue with being upset after the time and effort my fiancé and I put into our registries. Much of what’s being commented doesn’t apply to my shower, guests, or registry.
