Can you bleach your hair blonde while pregnant? I’ve been using this dye for years but just wondering if I could use while pregnant?

I would confirm with your doctor. I was told hair dye (I also asked about nail polish and nail polish remover) were safe, as long as it's done in a well ventilated area. However, bleaching is completely different so you might not be able to use it. Just be safe and either avoid it or get an okay from your doc!

I've heard no dye in the first trimester.   I've had my hair highlighted twice, once at 14w and once at 24w.  That way there's no direct scalp contact and I've booked my appointments at times when the nail lady is not working since they use the worst chemicals.

Like someone else said it’s safe but in a well ventilated area. Since it’s too cold outside in most place I suggest doing it in the living room. NOT a tiny bathroom. It’s safe though. My obgyn told me so.

I helped my cousin dye her hair when she was probably 7 or 8 months but we did it outside to avoid breathing the fumes and didn't go back inside til it was time to wash. I would just check with your OB first because bleach may be a different story.

I'm surprised it doesn't say whether or not you can on the packaging. I was told to refrain from bleaching, but dye was ok in a well ventilated area.
