35 weeks, BH or what??

Question

Posted this in my feb 18 babies group too but sorry girls, I need answers 😅
Been having slight period-like cramps for the past few nights and throughout the day sometimes.. I’m 35 weeks + 2 days, are these Braxton Hicks?? Sometimes they’re only on one side of lower abdomen but other times it’s on both sides and across. Only asking because I THOUGHT I had BH before but these feel completely different 😩 whatcha guys think?

I’ve been having these as well and the way it was explained to me by my OB is that they can be real contractions, but false labor. So it’s a contraction, but not one that is strong enough or persistent enough to begin labor. They usually hit me at random times throughout the evening and right when I wake up. If you’re having 6+ of these in under an hour, that’s when it’s time to pay attention and head to Labor & Delivery. Hope that helps!
