Swollen feet?

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and I've recently started experiencing swollen feet that are painful to the touch. In my previous pregnancies I don't remember having swollen feet/ankles this early. Any tips?

yeah talk to your Dr could just be water retention but that can also be caused by preeclampsia

More water (half your body weight in ounces minimum), compression socks and cut back on sugary treats or anything high in sodium (if you go out to eat a lot, the food at restaurants is filled with it. Most processed food is.)

this woman said it's caused by placenta which takes over around twelve weeks grow up if I wanted to scare her I would just say it is it or that she or baby are in danger. You are a sad lady who thinks just cause you have something that happens to you one you are the expert. my child just died of Edward's syndrome does that make me an expert too?

Jade, I’m sorry this woman is trying to scare you. Please do not worry about preeclampsia at this gestation, it rarely happens. If it does, it is caused by an underlying medical issue and has only happened to a handful of women.
