long periods :\

For the last year my periods have lasted for a little over a month each time and then nothing for 2ish months. I do have the nexplanon implant but its suddenly changed after having it before and from what it was like last year. I can pinpoint the cramping pain with one finger. its the worst its ever been. Of course I went to the gyno and she said just to deal with it because everything is fine. all she would do would place an iud ALONG with my implant. should I do what she wants? or look for a gyno that actually listens to me?
