Could the pill be covering up endo pain?

Katelyn

I'm 17 and have been on the pill since I was 13. There was no severe pain that made me want to start taking it, I just wanted to go ahead and get it out of the way. I'm kind of worried that being on the pill could be masking some symptoms of endo because my mom had it and Im starting to see my cycle get worse. For the past year my legs have been aching all month long down to my toes which used to happen only on my periods. Ive also been getting short stabs of pain in my abdomen that increase during ovulation (new). My clitoris feels like its being pinched sometimes which is unpleasant but my bleeding is regular and only lasts 3 or 4 days. Backaches too but those are super common. Does anyone think BC could be covering up things such as keeping me regular when I shouldn't be? Or are these just plain period pains? Any input would be appreciated ❤ Wish I hadn't started BC so young so now I would know what was normal for me.
