Are condoms enough protection ?

I'm studying and have other plans for my future, surely don't want a baby now, but wouldn't abort either.

What side effects could be if I use the pill ?

Also I'm a bit concerned that I haven't been able to orgasm, nor when he fingers me nor the couple times he gave oral, any tips ?
