Did I over step my boundaries?

I've been training a new girl for the last month. I'm in the middle of training her and an old coworker comes into work to have her child seen ( I work at a pediatric clinic). The old employee says to me, " You've been married a year now, so where are the babies" After struggling with TTC a year, I responded " Maybe if you come massage my uterus, I might get pregnant" The new girl obviously over heard me and we eventually got into the subject of her struggles with TTC too. Our TTC struggle has come up a few times, so I gave her my "Take charge of your fertility book"! Now that I think about it, I hope I didn't over step my boundaries! I know I'm over thinking it but I know how touchy this subject can be.
